I had a full day of crafting a couple of weeks ago…before the vacation and before we took our youngest back to school. Made a bunch of Christmas cards and tags. Well, I thought I posted them, but didn’t, so here they are…finally! These cards and tags used the Peace this Christmas stamp set in our current Stampin’ Up catalog, page 27 (#141570 clear) and some retired dsp from last year. I stocked up/hoarded a lot of Christmas dsp last year, was glad to use it! Real Red and Garden Green cardstock as well as gold thread and bakers twine was also used. I made a dozen of these simple cards and at least two dozen tags. Woohoo! Kept this bunch simple…may add more detail to the cards later.
So, today, I got out one of my favorite new stamps- Time of Year. It is a hostess set and I’ve used it so much already, just love it!
I haven’t ordered, much from the holiday catty yet as I’ve been trying to use what I just ordered from the annual book first. But I did get the Candy Cane Lane dsp…I’m a sucker for gingerbread! Using Early Espresso and Real Red ink and some Crumb Cake and Real Red cardstock this is what I made today…
Thanks for stopping by! I hope I’ve given you some fun ideas so you can start planning early for Christmas!
