A Beautiful Combo

I was looking for an idea for a card for this week’s stamp night and wanted to use Definately Dahlia and something to coordinate with it.  Finally, near the back of the Stampin’ Up catty I see Perfectly Wrapped. It’s a kit with this stamp set …I love it! We used Very Vanilla cardstock and inks in Watermelon Wonder and Sahara Sand. Very simple card to make; just a little fussy cutting.

The second card uses one of Stampin’ Up’s note cards. These are a great deal since you get 20 cards and envelopes for $6. We used the plastic baggie watercolor technique. Color the baggie with markers, spritz with a bit of water then lay flat on the card stock and gently press down. We used the shimmery white cardstock since we were using water. Two simple cards but with great results. Both were fun and showed the group something they hadn’t done before.
